FORUM & CELEBRATION
October 7, 2011
This year's Creole Heritage Celebration will provide the “Creole Voice” through a day-long open discussion forum. All events will be held at the NSU Ballroom located in the Freidman Student Union building located on Northwestern State University's campus in Natchitoches, Louisiana (see map below).
The October 7, 2011 forum is FREE and open to the public. It will take place at 8 am through 4 pm which will include a “working lunch”. (Box lunches will be available for purchase). This event will continue with the Benefit Banquet and Zydeco Dance beginning at 7 pm. Live Zydeco musical entertainment will be provided by Wayne Singleton and “The Same Ol 2-Step” band.
REGISTRATION
As a tribute to all who have supported us throughout the years we have negotiated to bring the cost down for the Banquet and Dance as low as we could. Admission will be just $25 a person which includes the banquet, the dance PLUS a ticket for the Commemorative Ornament door prize drawing. For those attending the "Working Lunch" (see Program details) a box lunch will be available for purchase at $8 each for a sandwich, chips, dessert and drink.

WIN A GAS CARD!! All registrations received by midnight September 7th will be eligible for the $75 gas gift card drawing. Winner will be drawn and notified by September 9th. A second chance drawing for a $25 gas gift card will be held from all registrations received by September 21st. The winner will be notified by September 23rd.
