In response to concerns expressed by Creole constituents throughout the country, the Creole Heritage Center initiated a consortium of agencies and individuals to document and address language change and loss in Louisiana Creole communities. The short survey below is aimed at providing information to support funding proposals for this purpose.

Unlike previous studies, this project will be community driven and support fieldwork and other activities relevant to recording, documenting, and archiving the Creole Language. All materials will be made accessible to individuals and communities on a national basis. Your assistance in preserving our Creole language is appreciated.
